Why settle for one when you can have both? uTama THE 3RD comes in two distinct variants, one as the sake you usually know, and the other as an usu-nigori, a naturally occurring sparkling resulting from being only partially filtered.
As the usu-nigori is left unpasteurised, it’ll continue to ferment in your fridge as time passes, further distancing itself from the style of the original clear sake. This both makes it sparkly (and we think a bit too easy to drink) and forming an excellent comparison with its clear sister.
